Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by BettyWinkler. By booking a session with BettyWinkler, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as the guidelines in our Ethical Code of Conduct.

1. Session Duration and Booking

  • Standard online (video or audio) or offline (in-person) sessions with BettyWinkler run for 53 minutes.
  • Clients have the option to book longer sessions of 83, 113 or 143 minutes, depending on their preference.
  • All sessions are booked through bettywinkler.com.au under the ‘Let’s Connect on Your Terms’ section where the preferred service and appointment are selected, and the full session fee is settled in advance.
  • The booking system requires only a preferred name, an email address, and a valid mobile phone number (only for Australian mobile phone number holders for faster booking), which is used to receive a secure login code. This ensures you can access your booking in case of rescheduling. The email address will be used to send booking confirmations, including the meeting location or, for online sessions, the meeting link. No additional personal data is required; any further information, such as for invoicing, is optional. For clients who prefer anonymity, we suggest creating a secure email address with no personal identifiers through a free email provider. Please note, we do not collect, store, or process any personal data from our clients. (For further details, please refer to our Privacy Statement under the “Policy Network” menu item.)

2. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

  • Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule their booked sessions up to 3 hours before the appointment time using the self-service calendar function of the booking system. There is no limit to the number of times a session can be rescheduled within 3 months of the original booking date.
  • Cancellations Beyond 3 Months: If a session is not utilised or rescheduled within 3 months from the original booking date, the booking will be forfeited and non-refundable.
  • Cancellations Within 3 Hours: Appointments that fall within 3 hours of the scheduled time cannot be rescheduled, and no refunds will be issued for these cancellations.
  • No-Show Policy: BettyWinkler will wait for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of the session. If the client fails to connect or show up within this 15-minute window, the session will be considered cancelled, and the session fee will not be refunded.
  • In exceptional cases, BettyWinkler may request to reschedule a client’s session to a different time. In this case, BettyWinkler will inform the client at least 3 hours before the confirmed appointment.

3. Session Content Guidelines

  • While BettyWinkler encourages open discussion and believes that no subject is off-limits, any topics that breach the rules of the Ethical Code of Conduct or involve illegal ac.vi.es under the laws of New South Wales (NSW) will not be tolerated.
  • BettyWinkler reserves the right to terminate a session if these guidelines are violated, with no refund provided.

4. In-Person Sessions and ‘Walk The Talk’

  • In-person sessions, including ‘Walk The Talk,’ are available in the CBD area of Sydney.
  • If a client requests a different location within a 5 km radius of Sydney Tower, a travel fee of $50+ GST for every 30 minutes of travel time (for both out- and inbound directions) will be added to the session fee.
  • ‘Walk The Talk’ outdoor sessions may be moved to an indoor location based on the client’s preference due to weather or other conditions. In such cases, the client must inform BettyWinkler at least 3 hours before the appointment to request the change.

5. Fees and Payment

  • All displayed session fees include GST.
  • Credit card transaction fees are included in the displayed session fees.
  • Standard working hours are considered from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM on workdays, excluding public holidays. Public holidays are understood according to the NSW, Australia public holiday calendar.
  • A Flexi fee applies for sessions booked on regular workdays from 8 AM to 9 AM and 6 PM to 7 PM.
  • A higher, Flexi Pro fee will be added for sessions between 6 AM to 8 AM and 7 PM to 9 PM for
    out-of-working hours services.
  • A higher, Flexi Pro fee applies to all weekend and public holiday appointments.
  • All booking times and applicable surcharges for special hours are understood in the Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) time zone.
  • All fees for sessions and additional services must be paid in full at the time of booking. Prices listed are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

6. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • BettyWinkler reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
  • Continued use of our services after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

7. Liablity

  • BettyWinkler provides personal, reflective professional listening services based on expertise and experience.
  • BettyWinkler is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the services.

8. Confidentiality

  • BettyWinkler offers clients the option to maintain complete anonymity, which is ensured during the booking, payment, and service process.
  • All information shared during sessions with BettyWinkler is treated as confidential.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales (NSW), Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
